Bookinglists.com – SCAM

Bookinglists.com - SCAM

Hello,

I’ve just been scammed for this villa in Ibiza by Bookinglists.com

Luxury Villa Rodarte

After paying 2000EUR I’ve sent somebody to check the villa and nobody answered anymore to my calls or email.

What should I do?

Thanks,

Mancino

  1. Bookinglists.com
    ******DO NOT USE*******
I had a lucky escape. There story wasn’t adding up, I trusted my gut feeling so I decided to do some digging.
The exact same villa on booking.com who are a legit company. Different name but exact same images.

These poor people who work hard to get a little holiday and you ruin lives!

How do we get this site off!!!!!

  2. Hey guys, if you want to fight back its quite simple. Use WHOIS lookup tool to find out who is registrant of their domain. Eg. go to https://whois.icann.org/ or https://www.whois.net/ and search domain name you want, you will find out who is the webhosting provider – write them email with proof that you were scammed by them (eg. proof of your payment) and I guarantee you, that if it is a serious webhosting provider (99% are), scammers will be banned and offline by less than 24 hours.

Here are WHOIS results for http://www.bookinglists.com:

    Registry Domain ID: 1966677849_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
    Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.godaddy.com
    Registrar URL: http://www.godaddy.com
    Updated Date: 2018-10-19T14:56:49Z
    Creation Date: 2015-10-07T11:13:18Z
    Registry Expiry Date: 2019-10-07T11:13:18Z
    Registrar: GoDaddy.com, LLC

Therefore, you can write email to [email protected] or [email protected].

You will probably not get your money back, but at least they will be done doing illegal business for sure and their name will be on blacklist..

    I hope it helps!

I see that https://www.bookinglists.com/ is still online.. but on other side they seem legit to me, which is weird. They have address, phone and everything and they are registered since 2015. I feel sorry that you were scammed, 2000 EUR its a lot of money.

Be careful and use only verified providers if you are booking villas direct. For example my company – Its called Wolfhouse (https://Wolfhouse.co) and we host teams and groups, we hosted successfully over 1,500 people with average satisfaction rating of 5 stars. All our reviews are public and transparent. Don’t hesitate to write us if you need any help at [email protected].
